Bubbles what a great way to celebrate the end of March!

We talked about April fools day today. Beware!  We talked about spring.  We talked about Jesus serving us and how we serve each other.  

Scholastic order is due April 9.  Remember we get free stuff for our room when books are ordered.  They love the puzzles!  The order should be sent in time for Easter.

Happy Friday Everyone,

We had a busy week this week.  We have been working on our color recognition.  Today and yesterday we worked on a shape and color paper.  I used this paper to help them learn to follow directions and work together in a classroom setting.  They are getting better at waiting to talk and listening to directions.  

I emailed the newsletter today.  Please let me know if you or someone has not received it.  

I also sent home the April Calendar.  Please let me know if you or anyone needs another copy.  We have a field trip scheduled to Willoughby Farm at the end of the month more info in the newsletter.

As you may have guessed are main theme will be Farm next month.

We will finish up letter bags next week with the letter Zz.  We will still have show and tell as this is a good activity for them to use their language skills to tell their classmates about the item they bring in.

After snack we read books and work on puzzles.  They frequently read to each other.  

 We celebrated Rainbow day with Rainbow ribbons.  

Rainbow Races With Rainbow Ribbons!

We had a great day back to school after break.  We had rainbow goldfish for snack.  We made a kite.  We changed our season chart to  spring (even if it doesn't feel like spring outside)

We read a book about Trains, Planes and Trucks!  We talked about all of the forms of transportation that we saw in the book.  

In Jesus time we have started talking about Easter!  We are talking about Jesus and all of the things that happened to him, especially rising from the dead on Easter Sunday morning.

W for wheels.  When we have wheels we race!

Mason won the first race.  He has a really fast car.  

We have been reading about St. Patrick during Jesus time.  We learned how he shared the love of Jesus with the people of Ireland.  He told how the shamrock's three leaves represent the Trinity.  The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We also made is outside again today.  Have a great Spring Break next week.We will have Rainbow day when we get back on Monday and Tuesday.  This day wear your favorite color of the rainbow or all of the colors.  

When we have W for wheels we must have a race!

We had a good day!  We traced a train!  This is a great
pre-writing skill to master.  They did great.  They also followed directions.  

We went to chapel today with our Chapel families.

I sent home the letter Ww bag for show and tell on Friday.

Hopefully we can get outside again soon.
